External relations and communications
The external relations and communications team (ERC) strives to demonstrate the impacts and benefits of CFI-funded research infrastructure, and contributes to strengthening the place of science and research in Canadian culture.
Our team shapes and promotes the CFI’s public position and helps the organization remain transparent and accountable to the Canadian public. We are responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with government stakeholders to ensure they are fully informed of the use and impact of public funds entrusted to the CFI.
Working with CFI staff and key partners, ERC supports the CFI’s mission by collecting, analyzing, producing and communicating accurate, consistent and timely information to its stakeholders. Through events, publications, multimedia, government relations, social media and media relations, our team tells the compelling story of the CFI and of the research and outcomes it enables.
