Funding opportunities

The Major Science Initiatives Fund provides support for the ongoing operating and maintenance needs of research facilities of national importance and ensures that they use appropriate management and governance policies and practices.

The Innovation Fund gives Canada’s outstanding researchers the infrastructure they need to keep pushing boundaries; it supports promising and innovative research and technology development in areas where Canada is competitive on the global stage.

The College Fund supports projects that enhance Canadian colleges’ capacity to carry out applied research and technology development and foster partnerships that address the social, business, health or environmental needs of a Canadian industry or community.
