Tall buildings have lots of exposed walls, which makes them ideal platforms for renewable solar energy systems, a fact Andreas Athienitis understands well. In fact, you can find his new solar panel technology on the façade of the Concordia University’s John Molson building in the heart of downtown Montreal. This building uses the sun’s rays to produce its own heat and electricity, even on the coldest winter days.
