The largest survey of space ever conducted will now begin thanks to the opening of the Canadian Hydrogen Intensity Mapping Experiment, known as the CHIME telescope. Today, the Honourable Kirsty Duncan, Minister of Science, installed the final piece of this new radio telescope located in B.C.’s Okanagan Valley. The telescope will be used to help us better understand space phenomena such as the expansion of the universe.
